ABOUT PENNELLO STUDIO
Pennello Studio is a self-service art studio designed for individuals who seek freedom, focus, and creative peace. Built on the belief that art thrives best without distractions, Pennello offers a quiet, thoughtfully curated space where artists can immerse themselves fully in their craft.
The idea for Pennello was born in 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Like many others, I was at home searching for an outlet — a space where art supplies were accessible, creativity felt uninterrupted, and solitude could coexist with inspiration. Most art studios required instructors, shared classrooms, or unfamiliar faces. What was missing was a private, calming environment to create freely, at your own pace.
Pennello was created to fill that gap.
Our Story
During the COVID-19 pandemic, demand for creative spaces increased as people stayed home and searched for meaningful ways to escape isolation and boredom. In 2020, this shift inspired the idea for our art studio. While spending more time at home, I found myself longing for a dedicated space to create—one where tools and equipment were readily accessible and where I could work freely without limitations.
Living in New York City, I noticed that most art studios required structured classes or instructor-led sessions. What I wanted instead was a quiet, open space with room to think, create, and express emotions through art—a place with breathing room and calming surroundings where artists could enjoy time alone with their creativity.
This vision became the foundation of our studio: a creative refuge that empowers individuals to work independently, explore their creativity at their own pace, and transform emotions into meaningful artistic expression.
